Laser technology is based on the ability of a device to emit a narrow beam of highly focused light. In each LASER (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) system, the laser medium (in this case - Thulium) defines the wavelength. Parallel radiation coming out from the device is easy to focus on a target; small focus, high intensity, specific target.

  • There are two possible laser action modes - pulsed and continuous wave mode. The pulsed laser is mostly prevalent in medicine, especially in urology. 
  • Thanks to various divergence angles, it is possible to adjust the laser focus to appropriate target sizes.
  • Possible modifications of the wire’s end allow us to adjust the laser distribution to the targeted area, e.g. bladder or prostate.
